ABOUT US

The Intermountain Genetic Alliance was established in 2004 by a group of purebred Angus breeders. Since our first sale in 2004, we have evolved to meet the needs of our fellow cattle producers by offering multiple breeds of cattle to match their specific breeding goals. Each year on the first Friday in March we hold our annual "Heber Valley Bull Sale" in Heber City, Utah and then on the third Friday in March, we hold our "Bulls at The Border" sale in Baker, Nevada.

Our goal is simple; provide our fellow cattle producers with bulls that will add value to their calf crop. Whether it's adding pounds at weaning, maternal value through the replacement females that will be retained, or increased carcass merit we have bulls that will get the job done. Our cattle are not pampered. In fact, they are grown alongside the commercial herds we raise throughout various climates and elevations in Utah. We take pride in raising cattle that know how to work and come with a good set of feet and legs and have the ability to convert native forage into pounds. Genetically speaking, our cattle are bred to their respective breed's most viable genetics to ensure quality from range to rail.

If you'd like to learn more about us or visit any of the cowherds, please send us a note and we would be more than happy to visit with you. We are here to learn about your operation and assist you in finding the bulls that will help you achieve your goals. We look forward to working with you and appreciate the support we receive from each of you.
